We have all unfortunatly experienced being in a hospital at some point during our lives. It can be a very lonely and stressful situation. When we are at home and we have a bad day who do we always know we can count on?? Our dog of course!! Well why not be able to have that same comfort when you are in the hospital. There are many different groups out there that spend there time at local hospitals and retirement homes. This provides a big smile for those that really need it. Northwest Community Hospital in Arlington Heights is currently in need of volunteers to come into the hospital with their dog and visit people. You can go to the site listed here for more information. http://www.nch.org/community/benefit/animal_therapy.php
If you feel you may be in need of a few pointers before you head in that direction feel free to give our trainer Allan a call. He has many different training options available!
